Welcome
Leicester Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

What To Expect
Our Sunday morning services are a time of worship and praise to Jesus Christ with solid Biblically-based preaching. Our choir loft is always filled with exuberant worshippers and we invite all in attendance to join us in worship. Our Wednesday evening begins with sharing a meal together in our Fellowship Hall, followed by prayer and Biblically-based preaching in the main sanctuary.
There is not a dress code at LBC for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church families dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at LBC!
Where do my children go? We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 10:00 AM and nursery is available for ages 0-3. Our families are welcome to worship together in the main sanctuary during morning & evening services, though nursery assistance is also available.

Become A Christian
You can have a person relationship with God through Jesus Christ!
First, realize that God loves you.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Second, realize that everyone is a sinner.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Third, realize that sin has a price that must be paid.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Fourth, realize that Jesus Christ died and rose again to pay your price.
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Finally, pray; ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior, and claim His promise of eternal life.
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
